Radi-tech Encapsulated castles allow for the creation of a workspace in any location in a benched lab or within a fume cupboard for example and replaces the use of lead chevron bricks commonly used in creating a work space. All encapsulated castles feature lead shielding encapsulated within a stainless steel structure making the lead inaccessible. This allows for a greater control over lead exposure to operators when compared to using chevron bricks.

The other major advantage of the encapsulated castles is in infection control. The stainless steel outer surface is fully welded and surface finished. Available in a powder coated or brushed stainless steel finish the entire surface of the castle can be wiped clean with no cracks or gaps for infections to take hold.
