At Raditech, we’ve taken years of field feedback and precision engineering to create the ViCad 8-Vial Transport System.

Housed in the ultra-rugged 1400 Peli platform, the ViCad isn’t just a carrying case—it’s a refined safety ecosystem. We’ve optimized the weight-to-shielding ratio to ensure that transporting up to 800 GBq of Tc-99m is safer, lighter, and more compliant than ever before. When the designer of the original standard sets out to improve it, the result is the ViCad: The new benchmark for nuclear medicine.

The internal components of the Raditech ViCad system are engineered to the same rigorous standards as the outer packaging. Recognizing that impact forces increase significantly during regulatory testing—ranging from 1.2m free-drop tests for solids to 9m for liquids—we test our internal containers both inside and outside the primary package to ensure absolute structural integrity.

To guarantee zero-leakage containment, every ViCad inner vessel utilizes a dual-layer containment system. This design features two independent, sealed volumes nested within one another, providing a redundant fail-safe that ensures hazardous materials remain secure even under extreme mechanical stress.

Partically well suited for the trasnport of multidose vials (up to 8 per case) of Tc-99m. The Radi TecCase can be used for a lot more sources. The Type A testing permits the transportation of Type A quantities of many common radionuclides. The case complies with the requirements of IAEA SSR-6, ADR, IATA and the latest 2022 ONR guidance for Type A packages, NS-INSP-GD-075.
