Syringe Shield - Size 2

SYC101 allows for a single syringe, up to 5ml in capacity, to be housed. The pig is constructed from stainless steel and is fully welded. This prevents access to the lead shielding and also prevents any spilled liquid contents from infiltrating into the structure of the pig and allows for easier cleaning. The thickness of lead installed can be varied at the point of order allowing for an efficient attenuation mass ratio to be achieved. The storage pig has a course screw thread and integrated O-ring containing any leakage from the syringe. The pig can be used stand alone in a lab or clinic setting or through combining this with SYC001 a certificated transport package can be formed.
