Surface Finish

The majority of products designed and manufactured by Radi-tech can be ordered with a different surface finish; Powder coated, brushed stainless steel or Bead Blasted Stainless steel.

Powder coating in the most common surface finish and is comparable to a thick, well bonded coat of paint. Radi-tech offer powder coating in a variety of different colours however the most popular is staight forward white - RAL 9010. Products can be powder coated in any colour from the RAL colour chart.

Stainless steel products can be supplied with a brushed finish. Brushed stainless steel has one key advantage over powder coating - there is no paint to scratch or chip off. Brushed finishes can only be applied to stainless steel products due to the inherant corrosion resisitance of the base material. 

Bead blasted stainless steel provides a textured, matt finish to the product. A bead blasted surface is more resilient to scratching due to the non-uniform surface finish.
